is delighted to be half of Rambling Path. She became enamored with travel after a 3-month solo sojourn in Europe at the tender age of 20, when she went traipsing on and off the Euro-rail in search of some of the spark surrounding a certain dead painter. Alyssa Tsagong
is the dedicated other half. Born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin, she has traveled far and wide to interact with the people and places that have compiled themselves into the amazing experience of this lifetime. In fact, she had to go all the way to the other side of the world to find her wonderful husband, Dhondup, while on a study abroad program in Nepal. They married on Alyssa’s second trip to Nepal, while she was there as a teacher. She has since brought him back to her hometown where they are wide-eyed with wonder watching their 2 year old son, Tenzin, grow and change. When she is not making macaroni and cheese or playing trucks with Tenzin, Alyssa works as a herbal medicine and potion-maker at an anthroposophical pharmacy, True Botanica. She dreams of visiting Tibet to see Mt. Kailash in person and the place where Dhondup's family lived before Chinese occupation. Then she will return to the US to gather all her favorite people into a fantastic forest community where she will sew dolls, read and learn how to be a beekeeper.
